10.25.24 was the most special day for Mal + Gabe in Chicago. They had such a beautiful day, it was slightly warm, & the leaves were holding on to the last bit of color that they were going to show for the season. The morning could not have gone smoother for these two. I met with Mal at Walden as her girls got ready in the spacious and light filled spaced. There was laughter, some tears, & all of the in between emotions from Mal and her bridesmaids. Once Mal was ready we went up to the rooftop to get the gorgeous Chicago skyline that Walden has to occur for a first look with her groom. As we were finishing up a lady bug landed on Mal’s dress and her eyes filled with tears as she looked down at it and said, “My Grandpa had just passed and I know that this is him saying hi”. Not a dry eye around and I am so so thankful to be welcomed into such wonderful and joy filled days! We hopped on the trolley and drove around the city grabbing those perfect Chicago bridal party photos at multiple locations. Once we were finished we headed back to Walden to start the ceremony! It was beautiful and emotional all at once and from there we went into cocktail hour/dinner and the fun didn’t stop!!!
