Ah sweet summer is finally here! I was back at North Ave photographing the most joyful couple, Katie + Ryan and it felt so right!! North Ave beach definitely falls in the most popular Chicago engagement photo location options and for good reason. You will get gorgeous Chicago skyline views, the blue of Lake Michigan, and the option of North Ave beach as well! It has so many different options that you cannot go wrong when choosing it for your engagement photos 🙂 I always tell clients that there are two very different (both great in their own way) timing options that I recommend. Sunrise is perfect for those that want to get those dreamy colors and have a more intimate session. Since we are starting early in the morning we are not going to have heavy foot traffic on the path (besides a few morning runners and some good dogs :)). Sunset is the typical night in Chicago, busy!!! In the best way but there is A LOT more going on / maneuvering that we will do. Both options are beautiful and add character to your photos so you can’t go wrong with either, it’s more so what do you want the vibe to be like that’ll make you feel most comfortable!
